Innova DX Destroyer Review

I'm a beginner, but I've been using an Innova DX Destroyer as my primary driver and love it. However, it's fairly heavy (mine is 172 grams) and requires a pretty strong throw to make it perform well. When thrown correctly (level, with a slight up tilt on forehand flick) it will self stabilize and fly straight for 80 percent of the distance and then fade right (if thrown forehand -- I'm a righty) moderately. I should note that the DX plastic (as opposed to Innova's other plastic blends: Champion, Star, etc.)is fairly soft and will take significant damage if you hit rocks and such. I even impaled mine on a tree branch when trying to get out of the woods with a tomahawk throw (overhead throw with disc on edge)! It will go far and fast with a strong throw; also seems very resistant to crosswinds. I almost always use the forehand flick in actual drives (as opposed to practice) because I have better control/consistency that way. My backhand drive needs a lot of work.
